Christmas is in the Air!

I know most people say this, but Christmas is my favorite time of year! I love everything about it! The tree, decorations, lights, cheery moods, etc.

The tree we chose.

Looking at the ornaments.

Cheesy smile.

Kylie and Mads went to the Nutcracker with Kyle. I didn't think I could sit through it. Definitely not his thing, but is a great dad. The girls loved it!

These are Maddie's heels that she adores. I don't know where they got it from definitely not me!
Of course Phoebe couldn't be left out!

Thanksgiving

We went to UT for most the week of Thanksgiving. I had some troubles that caused us to shorten our trip, but with some prayers we were able to make it! When I'm with my family I never think about taking pictures because we are having too much fun here are the ones I got.
All the grandkids! Including newest addition of baby Micah.

I was trying to get a picture of my 3 girls for my mom, but Phoebe refused!
Kids table.

The spread. Also pictured is Joe's wife Natalie who we met for the first time. Great addition to the family!
Baby Brielle. (Kate's little girl)
Pies. Kelsey, Rachael, and Katelyn did most of the cooking this year and they did amazing. Simon (stuffing), Grandma (rolls) and Joe(mashed potatoes) contributed too!

You might be wondering if that is bacon...yes...Joseph added this tradition to our family meal lol.
Beautiful apple pie!

Konmari

I haven't posted in awhile because my sister Rachael and I did the Konmari method on my house. For those of you who don't know what that is read this book. It changed my life! My sister was awesome enough to come stay with me for almost a month. It took us 3 weeks to go through my entire house and now I feel like a changed person. It helps to be in serious nesting mode and to have an awesome sister to help! Now I just open my closets to enjoy the beauty of having everything in it's place. It truly is magic. Even being so pregnant we are able to keep our home tidy now. (It helps when your husband does the dishes every night because you have nothing left to give). I recommend it to everyone. It is exhausting to do, but so worth the effort. The basic concept is you only keep things that bring you joy! Result you have a house of Joy! Thanks again Rach for saving my life!
