Kelly Clarkson

Random post of the day. To stay sane as a mom I have to have the occasional dance party with the music turned up loud. The girls were finishing their breakfast and I was dancing around to "My Life Would Suck Without You" trying to entertain the girls. (Don't judge me on the music choice for my girls:) It got to the line My life (my life) would suck (would suck) without you... and I was pointing at my girls singing loudly and I started to tear up (I really must be a mom). It just hit me that my life really would suck (excuse the language) without them or Ky. Enjoy my sappy post of the morning. I'm so blessed.

San Diego Zoo!

Today we went to the Zoo!!! I love the Zoo, but mostly I love going places and having adventures. My sister-in-law home schools her kids so they got a great deal on tickets and invited us to come along with them and some other home schoolers. Yay! The morning started out rocky.... first we had to leave at 7:30 in order to meet everyone there at 9:30am no problem...wrong...I got everything ready the night before that way the girls would just have to eat breakfast and go:

6:30am: I wake up shower (Ky helps load things in car)
7:00am: Wake up the girls/ dress/ feed
7:20am: Brush Kylie's hair while she eats, Kylie spills cereal all over clothes, Kylie starts crying, I stop brushing Kylie's hair, Kylie changes clothes, Kylie goes potty, Kylie gets a bow in her hair instead of two french braids (bow never makes it to the zoo.)
7:35am: Running down the stairs with girls in tow calmly frantically telling Kylie to hurry, Kylie walking as slow as possible.
7:43am: Pull out of parking spot
7:46am: Turn back for forgotten sandwiches, Park car sprint up stairs grab food sprint back down stairs.
7:51am: Start trip for real.
8:20am: Hear barfing noise from back seat, Kylie notifies me that Maddie has gross stuff everywhere, I begin to smell the throw up, think about whether or not I should keep driving or stop, of course I stop.
8:25am: Pull off on the side of the road, clean throw up off Mads, put gross clothes and blanket (I decided to give her on the way there) in trash bag, put clean clothes on Mads, clean out the huge chunks from car seat.
8:45am: Continue on our way to the Zoo, call Bonnie to let her know we will be late.
10:05am: Park at Zoo.
10:11am: Receive call from Bonnie telling us that we all have to go in together as a group, the whole group had to wait for us to get there.
10:20am: Everyone is at the Zoo!!! And we had a great time...thank goodness...

That was kind of long I don't blame you if you skipped right to the pictures.

I love her fake smile.

They are under a giant statue of an elephant.

Again refusing to look at camera.

I love this one. Isn't he cute.

I feel like doing this sometimes. Kick back and munch on a snack.

Kylie said her favorite things were the sheep and the monkeys haha.

At the petting zoo.

Maddie LOVED the petting zoo. Don't worry I washed her feet afterwards.

Dinner after the zoo. Pancakes. Look closely at her onesie.

We were all talking and then looked over at Mads and saw her stuffing pancake inside her onesie. I think the heat was a little too much for her.

Prom 2012

Serious

Not so serious.

Trying...

Perfect.
Kyle was a chaperon at Prom this year. I just wanted to take a picture of him for the big night haha. He took it a little overboard.

15 Months

In California they have you take the kids in at 15 months (they like to be different). I thought I would just throw in Maddie's stats. Weight: 18.2  Height: 29 inches The face above was pretty much the face she had at the doctors. She finally has her second tooth coming in which is pretty much perpendicular to her other tooth. A little little little bit of hair coming in. Right now she looks like a cute hillbilly.
