Hike

A couple days before they left we went on a hike in Yucaipa.

Caught in the act! As long as she didn't wipe it on me.

Simon wearing Phoebe's hat...perfect fit.
One of the only things living in the scorching heat.

Phoebe at the beginning of the hike.
Phoebe at the end of the hike.

We just started the hike and Kylie said she already needed a break. Her face says it all:)

The Love Tree

Proof that it is the Love Tree.

Kels with the girls before she left.

Knotts

On Kyle's birthday we went to Knotts with Kelsey and Simon. He is now 29! Yay we are the same age again for two more months.

I had to throw this picture in. Some friends of Kelsey were over for dinner, cake, and ice cream. We were all eating and then we look over to Maddie and find this. She had her hands on her face rubbing it around and said very slowly c..h..o..c..o..l..a...t...e..... We were all laughing.

I love this picture!

Simon and Kelsey watched the girls so Kyle and I could ride a few rides by ourselves. It was so fun. I forgot how awesome roller coasters are!

Torrance Beach

We also went to Torrance Beach. I was born in Torrance and lived there when I was little. If was fun to drive by where I used to live. Even though I can't remember it. I was 5 when we moved to Georgia.

Phoebe's first Beach trip. I have to say the beach is not as much fun when you are nursing. She did sleep for a little.
Rachael helped the girl's make a Hello Kitty Sand sculpture! I'm sad I didn't get a picture of it.
Prego and Kate sun bathing.
Jeffrey after eating some Cheetos mm..mmm.

All the kids playing with the sand toys. (Ok I guess the picture is self explanatory)

After the beach we went to visit my mom's family. On the way home we took all the kids. Jeffrey didn't want to be left out of the fun. Look at all those cute kids. Phoebe was smiling too I'm sure of it.

Splash Pad

When my fam was here we went to a Splash pad that wasn't to far from us. It was super crowded, but they still had fun.

Phoebe's Blessing Day

I know this is late, but it is Summer time now so we are hopping around doing tons of fun things. Kyle is off work and life is grand. My family came for two weeks. I should say some of my family was here for one week and some were here for another. Kyle's parents have stayed with us some weekends too. Phoebe was blessed June 9th. Let's see people in the circle were: both Grandpa's, Uncle Justin, Bishop Elkins, and Kyle gave the blessing. Our primary president knows short hand so she actually typed out the blessing for us! It looks like all our girls will wear the same blessing dress...I know they won't have one of their own to pass on. This was my blessing dress. I keep having good intentions of making one, but don't feel skilled enough to do so. Now it's tradition to wear mine haha.
We all look crazy in this one, but at least we are all in it:)
Me, Phoebe, and Kylie's leg. Look at those cheeks.

Phoebe's 4 Months Old!!!

4 month stats:
Weight: 12 lbs. 6 oz. - 15%
Length: 25 and 1/4 - 76%
Head: 42 cm - 70%

She "talks" a lot and is a very happy baby. She is by far my easiest baby yet! She sleeps and eats and smiles in between. She has rolled over once during the middle of the night. I'm not very good and giving her tummy time. Maybe that would help in the rolling over. She refuses to take a pacifier, but loves to suck on her fist or fingers. Her sisters love her and always want to hold, hug, kiss, etc. She never cries when clobbered by them. I think she is going to be one tough cookie. I think her middle name sums her up...Joy :)

She was ready to eat...and not very excited to take a pic.
